One more for me was seeing tractors on Downing Street. Okay raising IHT threshold from £1m to £2.5m isn’t much, but it shows the government is on the back foot. Definitely 2026 is a year to buy direct from your nearest farm shop everything you can afford.

Thanks Laura!

A much needed smile, and I will add the rescinding of the Chagos deal through the auspices of the UN - now wouldn't that be delicious??! :)

Great work Laura.

An 8th for me will be the total annihilation of Labour at the May elections again this year to follow last year 's.

Excellent, very well summarised. But where are you located to write about mild weather? Britain is freezing this New Year's Day, the 'warmists' must be panicking. We need more publicity on the revelations of dodgy temperatures from phantom weather stations located near airports and downwind of cities, found out by FOI's nailing the Met Office and it's poodle BBC.

It was cold, nevertheless it was lovely! I think the snowdrops are our early because it’s been rather mild this winter.
